LinkedIn pathway

How it works

Once you complete your course with us your tutor will refer you to our Information, Advice and Guidance Team where you will begin your employability journey.

LinkedIn Workshop

Participate in an in-house workshop focused on LinkedIn, where you will be guided through the process of setting up your own professional LinkedIn account. This will help you build your online presence and connect with potential employers.

CV and Employability Workshop

You will then participate in a session facilitated by Barclays, designed to enhance your understanding of how to effectively write a CV.

Our Newham Work

You will then be referred to Our Newham Work. There, you’ll be matched with a personal advisor who will work with you to identify suitable job opportunities, prepare for interviews, and access further training if needed. Their tailored support ensures you’re equipped to enter the workforce with clarity and purpose.

Our Offer:

  1. We offer information, advice and guidance throughout your course.
  2. When enrolling you will receive careers advice and guidance from the curriculum manager.
  3. Careers fair at the end of the academic year to link you to local and large organisations.
  4. Employability hub with key connections to the job market.

Employability Workshop

We hosted our first employability workshop, which focused on developing our learners’ skills and abilities to ensure they were employability ready. The session was highly interactive, and learners asked many insightful questions.

One learner shared their appreciation, saying: “Thank you so much for this session; this was exactly the next step I needed.”
