Cake Baking
What's this course about?
You will learn how to bake a range of cakes; how to weigh and measure and convert between units; how to prepare and line baking tins; how to adapt recipes; how to select the correct cake for different occasions; how to roll a Swiss roll; and how to prepare your cakes for decorating.
Entry requirements
None. You will need to bring your own ingredients and a carry-home tin or box each week. You must also wear a hair covering, apron, and closed-toe footwear in class.

You can progress onto one of our Cake Decorating classes to learn basic decoration before moving onto more advanced cake decorating techniques.
Cake Decorating
What's this course about?
Ideal for beginners, this course teaches you how to make different types of icing, how to prepare cakes for covering, and introduces piping techniques.
Entry requirements
None. You must provide your own ingredients for each class and bring a carry-home tin or box. You must bring and wear your own apron and hair covering.
